NETeller NETeller has been offering online money transfer and payment services since 1999. Neteller is very safe. Signing into NETeller is slightly more complicated than to moneybookers for example. You need to have 2 separate identification numbers in addition to your pasword in order to login. What makes it tricky is that the first is your account ID number, which is 12 digits long. The second is your secure ID and it is 6 digits long. Its a whole lot of digits to remeber just to login, but it does make NETeller safer, which I am sure everyone can agree is good. The registration process is straight forward. Again its important to use correct data. You will also be selecting a secret question and providing the answer. Make it something you can remember and dont write it down. You will also get a confirmation email as part of the registration process. Be sure also to enter your phone number correctly +358 12345678 (in finland) should be 00358 12345678. And dont take my word for it, re-check when you type it in. Get in touch with support if you are not sure. You must select a currency, and please note that NETeller will charge an additional 1,9% fee for all transactions that require a currency echange - (Ex: euro to dollar and vice versa) so be sure to pick the currency that will mean you need to make the least amount of conversions; it will save you money. To takie full advantage of NETeller you will need to verify your bank account & identity with NETeller. NETeller will make a small deposit into your account and you will need to give details relating to this deposit to verify yourself as the owner of the account. At this point you can apply for net+ cardds, which will give you DIRECT access to your acount via ATM machines for example. Pretty Sweet! NETeller customer service is definately up to par. My first run in with whoever opened my personal account years ago didnt go down that smoothly. However since then their customer service has impressed the s**t out of me. as a little anecdote, they email you transcripts of any online chats you may have had with their customer service representatives. HOW COOL IS THAT. (Try it and you'll see). What pupose does it serve? Not sure, but I guess you wont know before you happen to need a transcript of your chat. Now a word of warning. NETeller is very careful regarding safety as well as in fighting against moneylaundering etc I suppose. Anyway there exists a place called "NETeller hell". Its very unfortunate to have to say this as the people who run the company are very honest and so they deserve some respect for being so careful. But the problem is they are almost too careful. And if you land in NETeller hell you will most certainly agree that they are way too careful. That means that if for any reason you happen to deviate from the NETeller design, you give information that according to NETeller doesnt match or life simply happens and something just gets confusing, NETeller will close your account. Please understand your money is safe. You will eventually clear the problem and will once again be re-united with your money. But the limbo sucks. Big time. Now I just recently got all my problems cleared by some very qualified customer service people, so it could be that the problems are all in the past. But I felt it was my duty to give this warning. if your bankroll is a few hundred and it gets frozen by some cautious (obscene word here) it tends to frustrate the shit out of you. But once again I must in all fairness say that YOU WILL ALWAYS GET YOUR MONEY BACK. And that is a comforting thing. So along with moneybookers NETeller is one of the better choices you can make
